Ductless air conditioning units are loved by many homeowners today because of their high level of flexibility. Otherwise referred to as mini splits, they are significantly small when compared to central AC units, and are more flexible when it comes to both cooling and heating individual rooms. While initially most ductless units that were available were designed only for cooling purposes, today there are units available which handle both heating and cooling, thus making them a more economical alternative to central air conditioning units. In general, a ductless mini split would have up to four individual air handling units which would be connected to one outdoor unit, meaning you can be able to condition up to 4 rooms at a go. This makes them a versatile option in the sense that they can be regulated and conditioned to get on or off in specific rooms at specific times. Each of these handling units come with its own thermostat to make temperature regulation easy and customized.
